Phishing on WHOBLOCKSYOU.NET

If you are one of those people, who is using MSN messenger or Windows Live Messenger email for chatting, beware! there are a site known as whoblocksyou.net / youreblocked.com etc. that offer a fake service to show person who blocked or delete your email from their contact list.

And important for you to know, the service and all parts of the website is a complex structure of internet illegal information sharing that make the webmaster can collect all email and password of anybody who store their login information on this site (Log in on the login form on this site). This behaviour is also known as PHISHING (click on the link to know what is phishing).

Ok for a simple example of how phising works on this site is :

- Visitor visit the website

- Visitor entered their email and password on the login form

- When visitor is clicking submit button (or Enter) the script will send the visitor's email and password to webmaster secret list page, instead deliver it to microsoft or MSN server.

- when loading the result page, an alert box with some such a welcome message, popped out to persuade the visitors, that their login information was not shared to a third parties or something like that.

- there's a fake list of people who blocked the visitors generated by automatic and random script depends on the visitors contact

-after the webmaster collect the visitor's login information, he/she start to run automatic script to send a spam and usually virus link to anybody on the visitor's contact.

( If the webmaster hate or dislike someone, its very easy to him/her to use him/her login information collection to provoke people to hate the person he/she dislike.)

See how its work? Phishing is one of most famous and easy to do, cracking/hacking theory on the internet. So i suggest you to use a web browser that support anti phishing security.

pServermouse.exe removal

pServerMouse.exe is new worm type computer viruses. And the exact removal was not yet been found, but you can try these way to remove the virus manually

First try to scan the suspected area with AntiVirus software but if the antivirus found nothing, you can try these step:

-Show all of the Hidden files, system folder, protected operating system, and file extension
- Try to scan it with antivirus again and if its not work, try the next steps
- Locate the viruses with search options in every place in your computer harddisk directory with the advanced search, "search in hidden folders" on
- the pservermouse.exe viruses should be appear in the search result box
- Select them all, and delete them, but if it cannot be delete, bting up your task manager window
- and select "process" tab then find for process named "pservermouse.exe"
- if you found it, immediately stop it
- try to delete all of the programs once more, this is should be working.
- if the virus came from a flashdrive, CD's, or diskette, there should be a file called autorun.inf which is try to execute the viruses everytime the device plugged. I recommend you to delete this file too.

If the manual steps are inoperatable, you can try to scan it with Threat Fire

pServermouse.exe

Last week when i came home, i turned my computer on and then plug in my USB flash drive to my computer, as usual i am waiting an autoplay prompt box to pop up in the screen. after make sure the flash drive were plugged correctly and the autoplay box was appear, i closed the box and bring up "My Computer" window. (i am using WinXP SP3) and doubleclicking in my flash drive icon. but there was an error pop up boxes appear with some kind of text "windows cannot find pServerMouse.exe, the applications cannot open" instead of my flashdrive windows.

First i thought it was a usual errors, so i remove my flashdrive and plug it in again, but something different showed in the autoplay window. thre was a choice to open my flash drive with a "program provided on the device" while i am not put any program in my flash drive. then i try to open my flash drive with folder sidebar and its work. then i search for any programs that sociate with the autorun, and i found nothing, i start to think that must be a virus infection.

I'll try to remove all of my data in the flash drive, but there is still an used space in about 500kb in my device. Next, i'll try to format my flash drive with quick format options but still! there still 500kb inmy flashdrive. Than in a desperate move i am open my flashdrive windows and choose to display all of hidden file and folder, display content of system folder, display all of protected operating system files (which is not Recommended) and show the extension for all of file types. And guess what do i found? yes there was a hidden program named "pServerMouse.exe" with "autorun.inf" which is try to execute the pservermouse.exe program after that i'll try to scan my flashdrive with AVG free 8 and, AVG detected it as a worm generic virus. but it cannot be deleted.

then i'am open the windows task manager window and chosse "process" tab. and i found a process that executing a program called pservermouse.exe, and i stop the process immediately.
Next, i am search for pservermouse.exe with search tools in every locations in my computer and every hidden files. and i found three similar program on my C:\, D:\, and my documents and then i select them all and delete it.

the infections was neutralize!! :D :D
